Wildlife Refuge

We enjoy taking an occasional drive to the Wildlife Refuge on McKay Island, North Carolina because we never know what we will see.  This time of year we've been seeing a lot of birds in winter migration.  Still learning what types are there.

Driving back home we passed the Aviation Museum in Pungo, Virginia.  We had to turn around so I could see the T-Rex facing the road! Couldn't resist snapping a shot. :)

I hope you enjoy and Have a Great day!

Came across this decoy that someone had put in the water. Knew it wasn't flying away!

Is it real or is it memorex? LOL

Crane perched above the trees.

King of the Tree Tops!

Guess we drove close enough, lol.

Take Off!

Didn't mind taking a picture of these guys from the car, I hear they like to chase people, lol.

Flock of Geese

A few box turtles enjoying the nice weather.

Huddle Time

Driving along we found this little one. Was really taken by surprise, since they aren't usually out during the day.

The Bandit

Another bird that I had never seen before, White Ibises.

Now that's a beak!

Couldn't pass up a photo of T-Rex!

And Finally... Won't You Be My Valentine!?
