Ten Years of Daffodils

Ten years ago - in 1997 - one of Mum's work colleagues (a Kindergarten teacher) sent her home with a single Daffodil bulb for me to plant at home. I planted the bulb underneath my Camelia bush, and watched in wonder as it grew for the first time to produce a flower.

Every year since, this Daffodil has come up every year, multiplying as time goes on! I count at least a dozen bulbs now. :)

While the shoots of the bulbs come up during Winter, the Daffodils don't flower until it's Spring... so I have a bit of waiting to go yet! :P
