Celebration of Life

Today marked the funeral of Nana, my Mum's mother. It was a beautiful service and there were so many brave faces there to celebrate a wonderful person's life.

She loved birds as much as I do.

Nana tried so desperately hard in those final months to finish knitting this blanket square (she knitted blankets and donated them to charity)

A keen volunteer, Nana was recognised by the Anti-Cancer Council of Australia after 25 solid years of volunteer work in 2000.

what a beautiful tribute to her. It looks like she was an amazing person! i love that she knitted for charity, what a great thing to do!
