The Finished Product

Here is the cake I teased you with in the previous post, just in time for the Mother's Day afternoon tea I hosted for my family on Sunday. Made from sponge, homemade raspberry mousse, gelatin and a generous splash of blackcurrant liquor, it really did taste better than it looks in this picture! ;)

      I hate your food shots because I now see them in the early am after work and I'm always hungry with only ice cream to choose from.
