End of Winter Drenching

Officially the last day of Winter, and Melbourne delivers on its strange weather. The weather bureau forecasts rain and hail stroms, but do I believe it….? No.
I hang my washing out on the line and, sure enough, two hours later, it turns from sunshine to darkened skies and big blobs of hail start cascading down. Running to grab the near-dry washing, I am pelted with hail from all directions and laughing aloud because I find this enormously funny!
Within five minutes, the hail stops, the clouds part again and I am literally DRENCHED from head to toe, the only proof of the weather phenomenon that just took place!
P.S. - I'm feeling more than a little au naturale at the moment, as I've been growing my too-thin eyebrows out for the past three months (in preparation for a good waxing/re-shaping before the wedding. See comparision here [photoblog.com]). Not to mention being badly in need of hairdye! The thingd we females put ourselves through, hey? ;)
