Wildflower Pea Family

The Wildflower Pea Family has a huge range of different types and colours. They can be found both north and south of Perth. We found the most in a place call Badgingarra north of Perth. Just ask at the roadhouse and they will direct you to the wildflower trail.

To help me identify the flowers, I bought a book at Kings Park called Colour Guide to Spring Wildflowers of Western Australia. That way I could go to the colour to assist me to identify the wildflower.

We took a few friends of ours on a Wildflower and Wine trip south of Perth and bought everyone one of these books. We had a game along the way to see how many we could spot. You can tick them off as you go and take a photo as proof. Fun times :)
