The powerlines in Saigon were so thick but amazingly untwisted. This was our first afternoon in the city. It was very exciting, the mood was vibrant, upbeat. Vietnam bustles with excitement, well, at least saigon felt that way. Here we are in the cheaper tourist area which was actually quite nice and had tons of locals living there too. View of the other side of the river. A lot of people live over there and ferry across each morning to work on this side. Bonzai gardens! This is a pretty common sight around Asia, instead of incense, devotees like cigarettes and leave them to burn out.
