Hoi An, Vietnam (2)

This is the more idyllic beach where there aren't any hotels and it is just a wee bit further from town so it is mostly locals who come. You don't have to pay for a sun chair, all you have to do is order a juice or something and you can sit there. Matt and I ordered one juice between us and that was ok! The water was amazing.

The locals all bring their little chairs to sit in. We called them baby chairs because they can get very, very tiny.

These boats are amazing. I think they are fishing boats. While we were sitting on the beach a man got in one and started paddling out, standing at the front moving the rudder from side to side. He went out pretty quickly and before we knew it we couldn't see him anymore. I wouldn't have though people would go out so far in such tiny boats but obviously it works.
