We came to Danang from Hoi An so we were a bit disappointed at first. The city is massive so nothing seems to be within walking distanc. We managed to find a cheap place to stay and arrived at 3pm and were starved so we walked around for hours trying to find a place to eat ended up back at our hotel, just across the street where a lovely little bar had been open the whole time. The lady made us vege noodle dishes and long island ice teas and then it started to rain and rain and rain!! We stayed there for hours, ordered more food and more drinks and played pool with the staff. Was an amazing night in Danang in that tiny little bar with tons and tons of rain outside. We left the next day on a train to Hanoi and the rain never stopped, Danang flooded and the country was hit with a typhoon, lots of people struggled. I was so sad. I don't remember what this building was but I think it may have been a museum of some kind…So many bikes!! This is a cool photo, again not sure exactly what these are, maybe the foundations for a very, very large building? The city seemed to be under a lot of construction, very massive, a bit messy but quite vibrant all the same, even with all the rain. A rainy bookstore.
