A full birthday

Brian and I spent a pretty full day together for his birthday. We started the day with brunch at one of our favorite diners, then headed over to Boston College to soak up some alumni pride and beautiful weather at the Jay McGillis Spring Football game (in honor of a player who passed away during Brian's freshman year).

Every year around his birthday, Brian volunteers at the Boston's Independent Film Festival - we saw two great films, one in the afternoon (Teenage Paparazzo - an eye-opening look at celebrity obsession and media culture in general), and the other past my bedtime (Drones, an office-comedy about aliens)

A pretty succinct summary of our plans for this weekend and next (photo by Brian). After the film, we ran into some friends, had some smoothies, walked around Davis Square, had some dinner, headed home, stopped by Becky's party, then back to Somerville for a late movie that was running late, then sleepy time.

I like this one cuz it says ‘snappy’ and I'm blocking the word ‘sushi’
