When we weren't lying around in the sun reading and vegging, we wandered through the long winding roads of western New York. On Sunday afternoon, we visited the Hudson-Chatham Winery in the adorable Hamlet of Ghent.

On the grass outside the winery. Drinking all that wine really knocked us out :)

This is just a sampling of the crazy wacky round sculptures that adorn the lawn of the Circle Museum on some random road in the middle of nowhere (on the way to the winery)

The most amazing place on earth: The Spotty Dog in Hudson, NY. They sell, books AND art supplies AND beer!!

On Monday, before heading back to the real world, we hiked to Bash Bish Falls (for most, this might be more like a walk in the woods on uneven ground, but for me this was a hike).

We stopped for a photo-op at the NY/MA border along the trail!

I stayed at the top of the very long flight of stairs that led down to the slippery rocks that led to the falls while my friends perched on a rock and took it in (that's the back of Jon, Michelle, Aaron and Deanna in the foreground)

I got dressed first
