Hi Rachele, many thanks, Mum is 85, I am sure she will live longer than me. Also, you asked some weeks ago about me being in Buffalo (all the way from Australia), sorry, I forgot to answer that, a little problem with changing computers! Well, between 2000 and 2012 we rigged up 5 different airborne survey aircraft at Calspan at Buffalo airport. The Holiday Inn and LaQuinta were are homes. It was always January/Feb/March that we did the rig ups and testing, so I always remember being cold. I also remember loving the city and the surrounding country, and the people were just awesome. An Aussie accent seemed to always be welcomed! I forget the little diner we used to go to most days for lunch, real simple family style but awesome food. As with most work travel you never experience or see enough as you should but I really did enjoy upstate NY. Between Buffalo and driving up to Toronto a few times each trip I got used to snow, ice on the roads and some blizzards, thinks that an Australian never really has to face! Lake effect wind (if that is the right name) made me feel colder than working in the Arctic, cold, wet and windy, thankfully not too many days like that when we were there. I sure do miss my time in the US. Brett

Hi Brett, thanks for sharing your Buffalo memories! I happen to love the cold and snow so I'm in the right place. We also have amazing and beautiful springs, summers, and falls. It's a great place!
