Vevey Retro

This weekend the streets of Vevey were full of old cars, thanks to the Vevey Retro car exhibition. It was nice to stand on the balcony and watch these old cars being driven in the traffic, most of them coming and going on their own wheels.

Finally, on Sunday we went to the Market Square, to have a closer look. It was a wide array of vehicles, ranging from ancient racing cars to big American fuel cemeteries and some modern sport cars.
There were brands I have never heard of before, like HRG, Wolseley, Riley or Panhard. There were two Alfa Romeo Montanas, a beautiful model I have never seen before. Bentley racing cars, a Rolls Royce, a Ford GT 40, an Alfa Romeo S.Z., an NSU Prinz 1, and many many more exotic and probably very rare cars.

There was a small motorcycle section as well. I am not a big fan of two wheelers with an engine, but even I could tell that the Benelli 750 Sei was something really special. A quick search proved me right, it was the first 6 cylinder motorcycle, of which only 3200 were manufactured.
