After conquering Lac Neuchâtel, with Markus we were planning another biking trip in the region. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favor, it was raining continuously in Vevey when I woke up, so we decided to cancel. During the day the sun came out and the road quickly dried, so I called Markus to check if he was still up to some cycling. He was, but we had to abandon our plans once again, as a huge storm rolled over Vevey, drenching everything again. Eventually it passed, and I gave Markus yet another call. He was out on his bike, climbing the hills over Lausanne. We agreed to start biking lakeside in order to meet somewhere in the middle. We bumped into each other in Pully, and biked back towards Vevey, and all the way around the lake to France, stopping in Evian for a late lunch. We took a ferry back to Lausanne, where we parted ways and cycled home. At the end I could not escape the rain, and got completely soaked by another huge storm on the way home. Anyway, it was a great afternoon, with 90 km biking in great weather, except for the last 30 minutes.
