Artistes de Rue

The festival of street artists in Vevey is an event we try to visit every year. There are performers from all around the world, transforming the old town into a big circus. The event is free, but the artists (rightfully) expect the audience to donate a few coins as a sign of appreciation.

I went for a morning run with Enikö biking next to me, 10 km not being a problem for her anymore. On the way back we already saw the crowd gathering, so after a quick shower we went out again to see the festival. It was almost too hot, finding a good vantage point in the shade was crucial but extremely difficult. We watched several performers and had an excellent time, refilling our water bottle at one of the fountains very often.
