Tour du Pays de Vaud

With a few of my colleagues we ran the two final races of the Tour du Pays de Vaud [] series in Penthaz and Saint-Prex. It was nice to run a race in the middle of the week right after work, only a short drive away from the office.

The course around Penthaz had a bit more elevation changes, it took me an encouraging 47:14 to complete the 8.5 km. It was the first race where a bottle of locally brewed beer was also among the items given to the participants. A week later in St-Prex I managed to finish the 8.6 km in 45:52, a new personal record. Both races were great fun with about 1000 fellow runners.
