I spent the morning with a friend working on photo skills.  Learning to use manual control rather than just aperture priority.  I tried a new technique with flowers under glass with drops of corn syrup.

Thanks. It was very entertaining. I may try it again one more time using focus stacking if I can figure it out!

Thanks Marjorie. Hard to get a clear focus with corn syrup but it was fun playing.

I know someone who does this using focus stacking...he gets incredible images.

On a side note, have you tried using glycerine? It's clear like water but holds like syrup.

I know about focus stacking but have never tried it. Glycerin is a great idea.
