Easter 2012

Easter is a good chance to visit the province of Albacete. The celebrations in villages like Hellín and Tobarra are known internationally because of the drums. But in other many towns these days are lived with fervour and expressiveness.

The Meeting

It is a tradition that La Legión (A Spanish military force of elite) takes part in many acts of Easter. Because of their boldness they are self-named by this terrifying nickname: “The Bridegrooms of the Death”
