Megaliths in Brittany - Part 1

You'll notice (sooner or later, but you will) that I'm quite interested in megaliths. If you've never heard the word, I'm pretty sure you have ever heard about Stonehenge (United Kingdom) or Carnac (France). There you'll find big megalithical structures, but there's plenty more of them in a large part of the world.

Years ago, they were my number one reason to visit Brittany (France), in recent years I have been "chasing" them in the Netherlands. But in this first series (existing of three parts) of megaliths I'm showing you the (for me) best pictures I made of the megaliths in Brittany. Not a hard choice actually, because when I first got interested in the neolitical constructions, I was more into documenting them, than into making "nice" photos.

I collected all my megalith pictures (from Brittany - apparently I never bottered to add most of the other ones I "shot") in this Pinterest-album.

Years ago I've been in Finistère/Crozon and visited the 'Alignements de Lagat-Jar'. It was mega interesting and somehow mystic.
Obelix must have been pretty busy, to arrange all this Megalithes there... smile Nice series, Björn!

Thanks, Heike. Obelix, indeed ... I read all the comics before finding out that the menhir thing was a nice idea of Goscinny but a few thousand years out of date smile
