Aachen (Germany) - 2017

For some reason, up till now anyway, we have always visited Germany in winter or while passing when going to or returning from Hungary in August. So generally I have two kinds of photos from Germany: rainy/dark ones or sunny/bright ones.

Aachen was one of those cities we visited in winter (actually, I visited it alone on December 31, my girlfriend was feeling sick and was staying in our holiday home), so the pictures arrived in the rainy/dark category. However, I was not unhappy with the ones following. The rest you can find here on Pinterest.

Truth be known the one I like best is   https://www.flickr.com/photos/roosebjorn/43748022152. Something about the face that makes it appealing.
I had to go look up Puppenbrunnen in order to understand why #6 had the neck it did. Somewhat weird but yet intriguing. Definitely an eye catcher smile

Aha, the sad girl smile And yes, the Puppenbrunnen is an eyecatcher and a tourist trap. Had to push my way through a hundred people to make some shots of the fountain ...

What a great mix of statues. The black and white treatment is perfect!
