Kismaros (Hungary) - 2017

by Björn Roose January. 07, 2019 835 views

Kismaros is just a little village on the banks of the Danube, but it happens to be the village where we stayed half of our Hungarian holiday in 2017. It's a good base for exploring the surrounding region (on the Slovakian-Hungarian border), you can have a nice swim in the Danube, and ... you might run into a surprise when driving up the hills :-)

All my Kismaros photos are in my Magyarország/Hungary 2017-album on Pinterest.

Interesting finds!
Why is it  called the Blue Danube, when it is not blue?  😉

I have wondered about that myself. I've never seen it anything but green, but it might just be blue in some places and under some conditions. Do you know ? smile
