Well ... we shouldn't do baking/cooking challenges all to often. Takes up way too much time to bake/cook and shoot. And then I tend to try things faster, which almost/maybe ruined my pie.
"Almost/maybe" ? Indeed. I'm not sure yet. The pie is in the oven as we speak, so I haven't tasted it yet. But I'll post an update on that later on (probably tomorrow). UPDATE: It's out of the oven by now as you can see on the photo above. The tasting however will be for tomorrow. SECOND UPDATE: although it's only 6 o'clock in the morning I have tasted the pie (for breakfast). It is perfect :-)
Anyway, here it is. I'm not giving you the recipe (it's a family secret ... Nah, I'm just too lazy to translate it from Dutch), but it contains sugar, eggs, butter, flour and ... apples. My mother called it apple pie, my girlfriend calls it apple cake. I just call it yummie :-)
