March 8 - Opposites (#PhotoBlog365)

Black and white. As opposed as can be. And then again ... not.

Kronos is my previous employer, Cipal-Schaubroeck is my current one. Both gave me a cup when I started working for them. Both are focussed on the human capital of their customers.

While previously I was working as an application consultant for Kronos, which is mainly in the business of time registration, I'm now working as a product manager for Cipal-Schaubroeck, which is mainly in payroll & HR services.

You see the connection there ? Indeed, time registration is pretty important for payroll services and payroll is the basic reason for time registration. At Kronos I was working with the package developed by product managers and IT people to build systems for customers and provide their payroll services with the data they needed in the form they needed it. At Cipal Schaubroeck I develop a product (eKalender) with our IT people to provide our customers with the possibility to manually enter or import the data we need in the form we need it from their time registration provider.

And despite the fact that we don't have that many customers in common, I have found myself working with former colleagues (people I actually never had the pleasure to work with while we were not "former"). It is a small world indeed and it is not ... black and white.

Interesting comparison/difference and definitely an interesting outlook of the theme. Unquestionably more original than mine😉

Bwah, I came up with the black/white thing first (like you did) and started thinking about it later on smile

We have a lot in common I‘m also a product manager for business software. As far as time recording go, it‘s very black & white: you‘re either on-time or you are late smile

Or, of course, you're early. Or you stay late. Or go early. Not as black and white as one might think smile

As for the product management: it's a small world ...
