Kallo (Flanders) - Katoennatie

Diving into what Katoennatie is, would be too much of a job for this blog. Let's just say it's a big company active in the Antwerp harbour. With a big boss particularly interested in art and history. Resulting in that big boss organising an event called Vossen, which I talked about before.

The starting point of that event was the site of Katoennatie and at that site there's a number of artworks: Rising by Sophie Ryder (other work of her in this post), Vliegen ("Flying") by Jean-Michel Folon, and Chantier by Wim Delvoye are the ones I photographed.

I love the Sophie Ryder ones and remember your previous post of the dancing ladies. Thanks for sharing these!
