"Boo" and "scary" in one week ? Really ? How boring ... Unlike these books by a few masters in the dark genre: Edgar Allan Poe, Roald Dahl and Jean Ray aka John Flanders. Ray/Flanders is my favourite, but not a lot of his books have been translated in English (he wrote in French as Ray, in Dutch as Flanders). However, Malpertuis, his absolute masterwork, has been translated in English, so if you ever get the chance to read it, don't miss it.
