December 22 - Winter (#PhotoBlog365)

Winter in Flanders, this is what it generally looks like. Snow is a rare thing, temperatures rarely go any lower that - 5 °Celsius. But ... there's a lot of rain and the days are very short. That keeps one happy. Or doesn't it ?

Thanks, Peter. And yeah, a wet Christmas is more probable than a white one smile

I've been enjoying another rainy winter day myself today, so this one really caught my eye. Very atmospheric.

It still rains instead of snows in -5°C? Flanders must have a lower freezing point. smile

For some reason I thought Americans understood that one can use comma's to list up a number of facts that do not necessarily happen at the same moment (winter is, by the way, three months long). Apparently that's not true for all Americans.

My excuses to the Americans in that case.
