In October last year we packed our bags again and drove to Austria (not to be confused with Australia - there's no kangooroos in Austria) for a midweek. In hindsight we should have stayed for a month or so, but there was (as always) work to be done and even though I did expect things to work out badly in the future, I hoped my expectations would be worse than the facts.
By now I know they aren't: the so called "covid pass" is almost there and we won't be able to travel for longer than 24 hours anymore without taking the so called "vaccine" or being tested. And our decision to return to Austria around Easter 2021 had to be cancelled (because of the restrictions back then), but we did enjoy our stay in the Wachau region in October 2020. You'll see why in the coming two months.
