Schwallenbach is not the most interesting place in the Wachau region and you'll notice that it was not a very bright day (as a matter of fact we didn't see a lot of sun during our holiday, despite the fact that the Wachau apparently is known for its nice weather), but the sight of the Saint Sigismund church with those vineyards and forests behind it and the (Schwallen)bach running through the equally named village from up the hill to the Danube was certainly worth a stop.
