Gdansk, Poland

Over the past few years, I've had a few opportunities to visit the city of Gdansk in Poland for work purposes. It has become one of my favourite places to visit in Europe. It is a port city on the Baltic coast of Poland. At the centre of the city, there is the Old Town which has a very rich history and is full of colourful and interesting architecture. The food there is exceptional, and dining and lodging is much cheaper than many other European destinations.

Below, I've included a few photos taken on different trips. They don't represent everything that Gdansk has to offer, but hopefully you'll get a little taste.

Greetings from Canada! Nice to meet someone here who is from Gdansk! I can see why you call Sopot vanity fair. It's usually full of people, mostly tourists I guess. It was a very cold and windy day when I snapped the photo of the pier, and I had never seen it so empty.smile

Gdańsk is the most pretty. I don't like Gdynia. I like only place where I live - I like watching rising sun and the sea especially begore going to work.

Thanks for all your likes on my pictures. These with sea and cliff are done near the palce I live. Greetings again.
