Cut Flowers Macro

I like photographing flowers. They are naturally beautiful and are usually not too hard to find, whether they are wild or cultivated. However, I don't have a garden, and I don't get to visit parks or gardens very often. On rare occasions though, some cut flowers end up in a vase on our dining table. On one such occasion, my daughter brought home a bouquet that she had received as a birthday gift from an old schoolmate, and that provided some shooting fun for me. The pictures below were captured with my Moto G phone in a lunch-time quick shooting session at the table.

Thanks, Russell. I normally don't like roses that much, but this one is rather special.

Love them all but something about the lighting in #3 is very appealing.

Thanks, Marsha. I was pleasantly surprised the way they turned out since I didn't do anything special. The flowers were just sitting in a vase on the dining table, and the main source of light was a hanging lamp above the table with a bit of natural light coming through the glass patio doors.
