Mindy met us at the quick shop to drop off the boys to us.

Tristan and Jerry got a snack at the gas station for the long ride.

This is a mine on I-70 that we drove by on our way up into the mountains.

The boys got out to get a picture taken at the Monarch Pass Continental Divide.

Tristan wanted to get a picture with his Grandpa too.

Road to Cottonwood Pass…

A stream along the road…

A fisherman who was doing some fly-fishing in the river.

These yellow aspens looked so pretty lined up

Mark too this photo when we stopped…

The sun was beginning to go down as we got closer to town.

Looking back while going up cottonwood pass.

You can see the moon above the mountain…

We came out of the restaurant and saw these cute little guys looking out the back of the car.

Jerry drank his soda while waiting for lunch…

Tristan thought it would be funny to make me look like I was hanging from the ceiling!

Grandpa plays the game to see if Jerry could cross his eyes.

Tristan was so happy to get his lunch after waiting until 2:00 in the afternoon!

Somebody doesn't like what Obama's doing…

or maybe they're republicans!

This pond has copper and green colored water from the mining they are doing.

Oh my…the trees got prettier the more south we drove…

and prettier…

and prettier!!

The trees looked dwarfed by the size of the mountain.

What a runaway truck ramp, it looks like it's going straight up!

This was another one along the highway…
