Trash or Treasure? (Day 14)

I have been taking pictures every day. What I have realized is that I have done that for a long time. The catch is that I don't always feel my captures are worthy of sharing. So I'm going to change the intent of my 365 to create images worth posting daily.

This means I have to really open my eyes. I did this yesterday on my walk to work. The snow has melted for the most part and what's left is litter. At first I thought I'll photograph any litter that's really out of place or in an interesting place. But I soon realized that there was SO much. I encountered a broom, laundry basket, lots of what look like computer parts, liquor bottles, and even a discarded front door.

Here are a few particular items that spoke to me. The rest of the junk just made me sad. I think I'm going to start carrying a bag and gloves with me and try to fill a bag with what I can carry each day. Every little bit has to count right? And look I may even find my fortune while doing it!

(I don't know why but my captions for each photo aren't showing up. )

This made me think of how fast and disposable technology has become.

Thanks. I'm very curious about that lonely spoon's journey.
