Today, I spent some rather lovely time at Weleda's biodynamic gardens in Derbyshire, photographing their annual Three Kings stirring.
Wondering what it's all about? More than anything, it's just their way of saying "thank you", and giving something back to the land that helps produce their anthroposophic remedies and homeopathic medicines.
The preparation contains Gold (the symbol for earthly wisdom), Frankincense (an offering to the Gods) and Myrrh (the symbol for the victory of life over death), which is then given back to the land as thanks.
Vigorous stirring, readings, music and outdoor attire aplenty ensured an extremely enriching afternoon all round.
