Today was the first day Travis and I had our German course. We have the course Monday through Friday 9-12:15 for three weeks in a row. After the first half of the class, I was ready to throw in the towel. Honestly, I'm very close to that point still. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't considering staying at the flat and sleeping instead of going to class tomorrow. We'll see what happens. After class Travis and I met up with Linda and went to a re-used bike shop. Travis is hoping to buy a bike and sell it back at the end of the semester. That way he can ride it for exercise and ride it back and forth to school, etc. I am considering keeping my bus pass and not getting a bike. We will see about that as well, as soon as the weather gets warmer. Yesterday, we went to church with a couple from our building. They are Mormon, so we had our first Mormon church experience. Everyone was very kind and eager to help, as we expected. They even gave us our own translator for the service. After the service we were speaking with the two translators and one of them offered a piece of chocolate. As you could guess, I couldn't resist the offer. I don't know if that was a mistake or destiny. For those of you who have had European chocolate before, you know what I'm saying. With that said, Travis and I made a trip to the grocery store for a box of Austrian chocolate. I like to think it was destiny. We'll see after the semester's over if it was a mistake or not.
