WINTER CHILL

The river incoming tide.

The ruins of Hadleigh Castle I used to play here as a child.......looks strange with all the modern housing having been built nearby how styles have changed!

View from the Bird Hide

Curlew dozing in the chill winds with Plover and Knots, they roost here at high tide waiting for the mud flats to re appear so they can feed again.

Not far from where we used to live in Essex. Always liked Hadleigh Castle but never managed to be there when the lighting was right.

Oh we visit Yorkshire every year just love it.....we stay about 6 miles from Harrogate at a place called Kettlesing, we love Bempton Cliffs for the birds and all the wonderful countryside around...........we find something new to love each time we visit. We often visit Maldon having a son who lives in that area......
