A woman with a Basket

In the remote area of Burundi, people used to drink water from the river, mountain or any kind of sources. After analyzing that that water contained some bacterias, modern and sophisticated way of getting clean water was established. People who designed that so called development were coming from the urban area or abroad. People came to gaze at them. They learned to drink that water, but they have never copied their jeans and t-shirts, their skirts and tops. They are still caring baskets on their heads and still wearing "IMBEGA". That is the example of a Burundi woman.
