This tree has captivated me for many years. It stands alone. I photograph it every time I come to the beach, summer, fall, winter, spring. Sunny perfect days, stormy angry days, cold stark winter days. Green leaves. Red, orange, yellow leaves. No leaves. It fascinates me in it's steadfastness, refusing to give in to the sand, wind, rain, and loneliness. There is a playground now to the left, a bench in front and a picnic table, and a plethora of signs trying to keep it company. (I have many pictures when none of these were there-well, there were swings....) but it is still just one the lone tree on the beach. Still the same tree.
