Day 38/365

by Camellia Staab February. 07, 2017 284 views

Day 38 of the 365 day challenge and how {sweet} it is. Things I've learned so far;  I have no problem shooting everyday, but have a big problem with composition as related to the theme. Today was no exception. I played hooky from work in order to spend most of the morning at the dentist. After the dentist, I found myself with plenty of time to play with my camera shooting  water droplets (it's been a project of mine for the last couple of weeks). After a while, I realized I needed to come up with a shot for today's challenge. Came up with an idea and set everything up, but wasn't quite getting the shot I had envisioned, another set of hands would have helped, but no one was home.  So I settled for the following shots.

A spoonful of sugar

makes the medicine go down

I enjoyed your story as well as the photos.
I've been tried to take photos in accordance with the today's theme, but it's hard to do every day.
By the way, thanks to your story, I could learn the phrase, "play hooky from work." (Because I'm Japanese.)

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, what makes the English language hard to learn are all the idioms/sayings. Glad I was able to teach you the saying. :)
