Back-lit 296/365

Yesterday, at the grocery store, they were displaying numerous exotic fruits. Some I had had the opportunity to taste before, others were very new to me. Bought a few and brought them home to taste test. This particular one did not have a "name tag" so I took a picture and uploaded it to Google image search, hoping to find out what it was called and how it is served. Sadly, Google was not able to help feed my curiosity. It came up with such things as "eyes" "plate" "plant" and even "rock", (the shape of the fruit is a combination of pear and apple but the skin color is dark brown with lines that look like scales but not protruded). Sadly, it didn't have much of a taste, very bland. So it ended up being my model for today's challenge. If you know what it's called leave me a comment.
