Water Drops

by Camellia Staab May. 01, 2018 250 views

On Saturday a group of us signed up for some water splash fun at the local camera shop. Nine of us lined up in front of a table set outside the store, in 50 degree weather, with tripods and camera all set to go, waiting for the opportunity to snap some shots of water flying all over. And we had plenty of opportunities to snap, snap, away.

I love these! Did you use a strobe or just a really fast shutter speed in daylight?

No strobes just fast shutter speed in daylight.

These are fantastic.  What a great opportunity to try something new! And, like you said....no cleanup! 😊

Never seen so much funny pictures. Splash, droplets, water pattern frozen in time. I can't decide, which one is the most beautiful of them all!
What is happening in the last two? #14 looks like an exploding ball and #15 as if the glass would be a well.

# 14 & #15 are water balloons bursting with a pin.

Thank you Ken they turned out pretty good, just wish we had used food coloring for the water so it would stand out more.
