Chiara Center (part 1)

Nestled in the back roads, approximately fifteen minutes drive from my home, is this beautiful structure among a plush green surrounding.

This place is called Chiara Center, it is a Franciscan place of spirituality. Truth be known, up to a few weeks ago I didn’t even know it existed, but because of the camera club I belong to and because of a member’s initiative, we were able to take a a “photography field trip.” We spent approximately four hours at this location and took as many photos as we could. First stop was the payer room.

The Stained glass and the sun coming through was just awe inspiring. We then moved on to the museum section. We couldn't find the lights to the room so taking pictures was a challenge.

While I did take a few pics here, only a few were salvageable due to lightening and photographer error. We then moved on to the church and hopefully they pictures will speak for themselves.

Too many pictures to post on one blog entry, so more to follow. Only because the place is just too beautiful for just one post :)

Actually quite a few do as  long as you are not intruding on ppl's prayers and such.

Thanks Antonio. As I said in my second entry wish you were there to help with the angle shots and different perspectives.

Thank you Heike. I really don't believe I captured its true beauty. So many of my photos  were trash cause I didn't use a remote and so they were blurry. Lesson learned (I hope).

Wow! Very Cool. I think I need to join a camera club. 🤓
Very nice images. I especially love the stained glass.

I love the stained glass too. If you have a camera club in your area I definitely recommend joining. Especially if it is a hands on club, it is well worth the time and experience.
