Chiara Center (part 2)

Our tour of the center continues with more pictures of the inside of the church.

The stained glass in this place is just amazing. The colors so vibrant, the stories they tell just beautiful. Sadly, I don't believe I was able to truly catch their beauty. By the time I finished taking photos of the church half the group I was with had moved on, so I slowly found my way out of the church towards the outdoors but not before seeing this beauty laying there.

On the outside, the grounds are covered with greenery, lush trees, and tons and tons of statues.

And besides the beautiful statues, (by the way Antonio and Sigrid, I wish you two were around to help with capturing at different angles) there was the cemetery.

There is no doubt in my mind that is the most beautiful place for a retreat and to know that is right here in Springfield. Here's a link to their website giving more information about the place. After completing this post, came across a site with more information about the church and the area, worth a read :)

Still looks a great place. One tip for the statues, go in them. Get close with them. Love the series

Thank you Peter for the suggestion. I know, I seem to  be afraid of statues smile
