Fresh Fruits

My fresh fruits consisted of blackberries, 12 oz to be exact.

I took those 12 oz of blackberries and after simmering them with sugar and straining them, I added some milk, heavy cream, fresh lemon juice and some salt. Once there were bubbles surrounding the mixture, I added some of the mixture to five egg yolks and beat the living s*** out of them until they turned into a creamy consistency. I then added the rest of the mixture, stirred and pour it into an ice cream maker. After 20 minutes, I added some dark chocolate bits, and finally ended up with this....

The ice cream is pretty good if I say so myself. I used this recipe  https://www.dessertfortwo.com/blackberry-chip-ice-cream/ if interested. The only difference between mine and hers is that I cheated and used the ice cream machine to do all the churning.

That's not cheating! Victoria (I already sent her the link) uses a machine as well. wink
I'm very spoilt by her ice cream.

Slightly sour, slightly sweet, with a nice touch of dark chocolate.
