For Andi

Went back and shot photos of the flower that I had caught in this photo in full bloom. While there were some still opening up, others were on their last leg.

Andi, I believe you were correct Hibiscus it is. Here, the red ones are called "Berrylicious" and apparently bloom intermittently resulting in a longer blooming season.

i've always known it as a Rose Of Sharon.. i love them.. the red it reallllly pretty.. mine is a white/pink plant and hasen't bloomed yet..

I have them in my yard as a bush and yes I've known them as Rose of Sharon as well. The bush is extremely hardy maybe too hardy for me, I've got seedlings growing all over my back yard.
