Framed

Standing at Laclede Landing in St Louis, this guy was standing across the street. Obviously he worked at the brewery behind him and was taking a break. But what was not obvious to all of us across the street (mind you there were 6 of us standing with cameras & gear wrapped around our bodies) was the fact that he had spotted us and had decided to pose for us. And pose he did as we took several shots and I framed this one.

What city is that? I know over here in Springfield they have started the "bike" thing and I crack up every time I see one of those yellow bikes parked, because it makes me wonder, who in their right mind, who is not a regular biker, is going to rent the bike to ride in a city that only has three areas assigned for biking in the street.

Hey Camellia...I live in Newport Beach, Calif...lots of scooters and bikes.  We have Yellow and now bright Green bikes...between the bikes and scooters we are also starting to have allot of accidents. The beach cities in California are all just scooter & bike crazy...it's nuts...

Also, I just read the post from Ram...I send a little reply with a reference to something you mentioned...about looking for another site like PB...but none to be found.

PB seems slow today....Ummm...

That's the problem we always encounter in this country. Something becomes fashionable and everyone jumps on the bandwagon takes it to the next level without really looking ahead and planning and then....all hell breaks lose :(

Perfectly framed, love the way you've composed the picture. A guy from the 50's with a modern gadget.
