I was really stuck on today's theme. I wanted something out of the ordinary, but everything around me was, ordinary. Then I looked out the window and saw how the sun had created lines on the neighbor's window. I zoomed in and took a picture with my new lens. The new lens is quite heavy (something I did not anticipate) therefor holding steady takes some practice. I took the picture and thought I got something good until I pulled it up on the computer and realized I wasn't even close to being focused. Sadly, by the time I figured everything out, the sun had moved away so no chance of a retake. But even so I thought I would share my unfocused photo.

Well, the bricks have some nice straight lines.  grinning  I too was worried about finding something, but the area around my house ended up providing some good material.

Bob? How many drinks have you had? You the bricks as being straight and focused? I think you have confused my bricks with your bricks 😉

Ha.  Well, I didn't say they were focused - but they are pretty straight.  Of course, our eyes are influenced by things surrounding what we view, so given the  *slightly* out of alignment things next to the bricks . . . grin

purposefully unfocussed is a trend on photoblog could have "fooled" me that you intentionally wanted the blur, looks good, and I thought the same thing as Laurie, what would the neighbors think?

I know Lee that it has become a trend but I never know if people are actually following the trend or just posting unfocused pictured. The old man next door has a weird schedule, plus that is his garage window smile

That's good...
I heard of someone taking bird pictures through their open window and the neighbor thought they were peeping into their windows...the cops showed up on the doorsteps!
I wonder if they showed the cop the pictures??
Anyway, all in fun...
PS: (I posted some dragonflies, I don't have many left but found a few-
My external hard drive crashed, never thought I would have to back up my backup!)
