Butterfly

by Camellia Staab April. 27, 2019 320 views

Yesterday, I was able to do a happy dance several times over. Sherry's poetry book arrived.

It arrived several days earlier than anticipated, so I took it as an omen. I had not been able to capture any real butterfly pictures, but one of Sherry's poems had an accompanying picture of a butterfly.

The fact that the book arrived early was a sign for me to post her butterfly picture for today's topic.

Thank you Sherry for creating this book. And to the rest of you, if you enjoy Sherry's posts as much as I do, you will definitely enjoy having a copy of her book 😃

Thanks Camellia for the tip. I did not know about her book and I love her posts. I love the poem you captured.

Camellia.
Sherry said you encouraged her to do this. It is always hard to put ‘it’ out there and your encouragement helped make it happen. I’m looking forward to getting a copy.

Yes, she is very talented. Although there is a lot of power in encouragement. grinning

Even Leonard Cohen gets a say, I see smile (Although, apparently, that quote is not entirely Cohen's : https://whatwouldbaledo.com/2017/01/12/stop-misquoting-leonard-cohen-and-ernest-hemingway-start-listening-and-reading/ )

Sadly everything is misquoted but one can't always go searching to no end to find if it's misquoted. Although I have to ask....how did you find this blog?

Well, I thought I remembered the quote from Cohen, put it in Google to be sure and got that result somewhere in Page 1 smile
