Macro Monday

It's that time of the year when these guys are flying about all over. I could shoot them forever. Very fascinating insects.

Welcome back! I figured you were out "gallivanting" the world. Can't wait to see your new captures.
Thank you btw, there is something about dragonflies that are truly mesmerizing, although they do tend to have a sever case of ADHD smile

Probably got tired of me aiming the camera at him while he was trying to rest.

Absolutely lovely.  I don't have the right lens to do good macros like you have here.  But I sure like looking at good ones like yours.

Add a Raynox 250 to your lens and you too can shoot macro smile

Hmm.  Sounds like an inexpensive option, but the specs seem to say that it needs a lens which accepts 52mm - 67mm filters.  All 3 of my lenses are either smaller or larger than that.

This fits on to the lens by squeezing the sides....just like like how lens caps work. So if you have a lens that falls in between 52mm-67mm it will work. Also there are things called "step up", "step down" which looks like a thin version of canning lids where you screw it on to your lens ( there is no glass in them) and you can change the size of the fitting of your lens. Hope that makes sense smile
