Last Night's Glob

by Camellia Staab June. 28, 2019 450 views

Looked out the window, in the pitch darkness and saw this glob stuck on the window. Got closer and still couldn't totally figure out what it was, got the camera out and put the Raynox 250 on, snapped the shutter, and this transpired on the screen.

Sort of figured out what it was and mind you it looks way bigger here than in real life. Of course me being me, had to take more shots, knowing very well that it is way too dark to shoot without some sort of light and tripod. But also knowing that by the time I got my act together this little guy would have probably disappeared. So I made a choice of using one hand held light that was handy, and my camera. That means that the hand that normally does the fiddling with the focus ring was pretty much occupied holding the light. But I shot anyway.

Eventually, he got tired of looking at this bright light and moved towards the window frame

And then disappeared into the darkness of the night.

Until this morning when I saw him sitting on the patio waiting for a kiss 😗 🐸

In #9 it looks really harmless...too harmless - I wouldn't let him in after seeing the night-shots....They gave me an unexplainable feel of haunting...(Looks like I'm the only one who does not recognize the prince in him...) smile

He was literally the size of my index finger up to the first bone, tiny little thing, but definitely not handsome. I am intrigued by them but yet sort of scared of them. Definitely do not want to touch them.

Well.....as i got closer and closer he started moving farther and farther away, must have been my coffee breath that scared him off 🐸

These modern day princesses get scared off by just about anything. The times in which they were not even afraid of fighting fire breathing dragons are clearly over ...

There is a prince in him somewhere, and it seems he has found his Queen.
