The First Person I Saw Today

by Camellia Staab August. 23, 2019 215 views

Actually I saw the person after I saw the thing. The thing in this case was a mole who seemed to have decided that he needed some exercise.

Then I saw the person, my husband, trying to get the mole out of the pool.

Not the happiest camper, considering he had just finished cleaning the pool. But he managed to get the mole out using the long handled leaf skimmer.

The mole is back in the yard digging a volcanoes and eating grubs.

Everyone on this planet loves your pool!
Great job David!

I mean... this poor man had to "save" the mole, and you were there taking pictures? smile

One reason I am glad the cats are indoor now. No more moles or rats being left as gifts on the patio.

Thankfully my dog is not interested in things like that.

What is Bullseye? I am not sure I want it only because I do like seeing squirrels, but I could definitely do without the mice and moles.

So, we learned that a mole can actually swim smile That's better than the hedgehog that drowned in my girlfriends' fountain while we were on holiday cry

I guess their quills are of now use to keep them afloat.

It's the expression of a guy going " damn it! I just cleaned that pool, now I have to clean again." 😀
